On 25 February 2017 in Rudnik nad Sanem was held VII National Karate Tournament for the Mayor’s Cup “Polish Capital of Wicker”. It was the first competition set under World Kyokushin Budokai rules. Event organised by Leżajski Klub Karate Kyokushin and BC WKB Poland sensei Dariusz Burda attracted 187 competitors from Poland, Germany, Romania and Ukraine. During the opening ceremony visitors from Spain WKB President Hanshi Pedro Roiz and Shihan Daniel Snachéz officially handed Branch Chiefs certificates to Shihan Pawel Juszczyk and Sensei Slawomir Dubiel. Organization of the tournament and the level of competition were at a high standard.
