3 medals at the European Championships


On July 29th, 2017, in Sibiu, Romania, took place the 7th European Kyokushin Karate Championship of the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (IKOK) Sosai, with over 300 registered participants from 11 European countries. From World Kyokushin Budokai Romania, a team of 4 Karateka has been registered to compete. The team was leaded by Sensei Ionel Stancu (Branch Chief) with fighters from 2 Kyokushin Sport Clubs:
Hachiman Dojo from Bucharest and Catalin Mocanu Academy from Giurgiu. All fighters were well trained and prepared. WKB Romanian Team obtained very good results as follows: Adult Men -80 Kg (the final was between 2 WKB’s fighters) First place and European Champion Mocanu Catalin, Second place and European Vice-Champion Curiman Bogdan. Adult Men -70 Kg 3rd Place Furnica Cosmin. OSU!
