All Japan Open de Point&KO 2026 - Dojo Sabadell

A historic milestone for Sabadell Dojo: Our fighters take over Japan. From an all-Sabadell final at the Japan Open to the official announcement of the 2027 World Championship at the Tokyo Budokan, the spirit of our dojo has never been stronger.

We are still vibrating with the energy from the events of March 20, 2026. It has been an unforgettable day for our team, as the name of Sabadell Dojo echoed through the halls of the tournament in Japan. Our fighters traveled from Sabadell to the heart of Budo to test their limits, and the results were nothing short of legendary.

The Tournament Results

Our fighters showed the true spirit of Budo on the tatami:

  • Pol Salguero: Champion. A flawless performance to take the top spot.
  • Juan Carlos: 2nd Place. A display of incredible skill and heart.
  • Marc Arjona: Lost in the first round. Despite the result, he fought with bravery and remains a vital part of our team's strength.
  • Ariadna Alcazar (12/13 Years Category): Reached the semifinals. A fantastic performance that proves the bright future of our youth.

Making History in Japan

For the first time, history was made at the Japan Open. The final featured two foreign fighters, Pol and Juan Carlos, both hailing from the same dojo. Seeing two of our own face off in a Japanese final is a testament to the "Very Good Work" of the entire team.

We are deeply proud of everyone. Thank you for giving your all on the mat, and a special thanks to our dojo family for making this journey possible.

Looking Ahead: World Championship 2027

During this trip, a pivotal meeting was held to secure the future of our organization. We are proud to announce an official agreement to organize the next World Championship at the iconic Tokyo Budokan on March 28, 2027. Prepare yourselves, the world is coming to Tokyo.

A Lesson from a Legend

To crown this experience, the team had the immense honor of training with Soshi Katsuaki Sato, the first-ever Kyokushin World Champion, at the Honbu Dojo Sato-Juku in Chiba. Absorbing the knowledge of a true pioneer was the perfect end to this historic trip.
